Community Guidelines

Use The Community For Learning

• Keep posts and comments relevant to bird learning, app use, community questions, or friendly general discussion.
• Use the Help board for questions that need assistance.
• Use the General board for bird observations, study reflections, and light discussion.

Be Respectful

• Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, shame, or target another person.
• Do not post hate, sexual content, spam, scams, or content that encourages unsafe behavior.
• Do not share another person's private information.

Reports And Blocks

Users can report posts, comments, and profiles for review. Users can also block another user. A block hides community content both ways and prevents likes, comments, replies, and profile access between the two users.

Reports are reviewed by administrators. Action may include dismissing the report, removing content, restricting accounts, or marking the report as actioned.

Moderation

AviaQuest may automatically reject content that contains blocked terms. Administrators may remove content or take account action when content violates these guidelines, app safety, research integrity, or legal requirements.
